SERVICES
Today’s manufacturing environment is ever-evolving while also continuing to have consistent needs that have stood the test of time. At Razor Machine we strive to keep pace with the needs of our customers. If you have a challenge, we are ready to find a solution.
The most common services we perform are machining which includes turning, drilling, and milling. From there, our services extend to machining and repair, fabrication, design/build, and welding (hot link to each page).
In addition to the more expanded description of our core competencies, Razor Machine designs and programs machining processes. Our team utilizes innovative SolidWorks technology and other CAM software. The world’s most popular CAD software, SolidWorks is a solid modeling computer program. Building a model in SolidWorks traditionally begins with a 2D sketch that has geometry such as points, lines, arcs, conics, and splines. Dimensions are added to the sketch to define the size and location of the geometry. Relations are used to define attributes such as tangency, parallelism, perpendicularity, and concentricity. The parametric nature of SolidWorks means that the dimensions and relations drive the geometry, not the other way around. The dimensions in the sketch can be controlled independently, or by relationships to other parameters inside or outside of the sketch. As with all technology, our engineers stay on top of updates to assure we maximize the features of the software.
We also use e2Shop Manager software to manage our entire workflow start to finish. It begins with estimating and concludes with invoice creation. This assures we have a PO from you to begin and the price and timeframe match your expectations. The use of this innovative software allows us to save time and money which is critical to you.
Our machine shop is conveniently located in Plymouth, Wisconsin; between Green Bay, Fond du Lac, Milwaukee, and Sheboygan. We serve the entire southeast Wisconsin area and beyond.
